Checklist.
1) Photo IDs
a) Passport or Election ID (OR)
b) Driver License + Ration Card or Birth Certificate (OR).
c) Students Valid ID + Birth Certificate
Carry Original plus courier 3 copies of the same in advance to me, also passport size photographs.
2) Valid permits would be given to you or your co-ordinator at Border; retain them also required while returning back to India.
3) Woolens (Light Sweater), Mufler light, Monkey cap, light gloves if you depending on which time of year you plan to go, light jacket.
4) Sun Glasses, Sun Screen, Cap/Hat
5) Personal Medical Kit, Emergency numbers, Towel, Soap, Shaving kit etc.
6) Pack everything in one backpack and carry one small day pack bag.
7) Don't loose your permits.
8) Once you reach Thimpu you can get local SIM Card Phone number. If you have a valid Photo ID and copy of permit.
